GO GO GO!!!

Aww how appropriate...this next card says "cheer up" and this is my last card I had to create for my Inktegrity Design team term :(

I have such a blast being on that design team..it was one of my first ones and taught me all the little "rules" and how to be on a great design team!

I just love this little girl image...makes me wish I had one lol

I wanted to be creative again so I took my paper crimper and shredded some green cardstock that has been crimped. I then used glossy accents and just started "piling" on the cardstock to make pom poms...I love the way it turned out!! I also had to use 2 mini pink real pom poms on the card.

This sketch is also for Mojo Monday.
I was excited to squeze in a sketch challenge sometime this week!!

I also have some more great news..I was asked to step up on my Blackleaf Design Team and become the DT Coordinator!! I am thrilled and cannot wait to up my responsibilities..Im just nervous getting started and making sure I do a great job!

Brent is home today!!! He was lucky to take today off.......but he doesnt know it yet but I have major plans for him being home LOL..We have errands to run, a bday gift to buy, flowers to plant and more!!!!!!!!!! Think he will be up to the challenge?!

Hello Everyone!

Today is Wednesday..so that means its Inktegrity Hump Day Inspiration..Im very sad as the DT term is coming to an end with Inktegrity. Joni will be taking a hiatus to focus on a NEW .com store!!

Today is special...its a sketch challenge AND a new releases. Here is the sketch for this week-

And here is the image/design I did. I love this tire swing image...so much fun to color and add things!!!

Did you notice that I used real hemp twine for the rope swing?!? I also added a heart with lovers initials on the tree...and added flower brads!!

I had so much fun making this card and of course coloring it with my copics!

I am also very excted to start with my NEW design team (The Stamping Boutique)...cant wait to show you what I create with thise wonderful images!!

Blessed Hana

Today has been so nice weather wise. Brent and Aiden are at the park right now so that I can try to finish up some projects for my design teams Im on and also items for the craft show. Its getting close!!

Inktegrity is taking a summer hiatus and Joni is going out with a bang until summer is over (She will be back!!!) We are doing new releases all week!!! This image is Hana....isnt she ready for Summer!!!

Lets see.....I made her blessed in the "upper area" LOL...and the fringed border was created with Martha Stewarts fringe scissors...I love them!!


I hope your Tuesday was a great one. Im excited for Biggest Loser tonight and I cannot log onto a computer and risk seeing who wins until I watch the show (which will probably be tomorrow)

Hump Day Inspiration 12 Card

It didnt seem like Wednesday yesterday...I was watching both boys again and I didnt have any time to blog or really be on the internet...so I am a day behind. Here is this weeks sketch challenge over at Inktegrity. I really enjoyed this one..I really like the more complex sketches that make me think for a little bit on how I want to attempt them lol...

And here is my card I created. In this picture the purple and blue look like they clash..but in real life it doesnt look like it does (at least to me lol).

Love the fabric covered plaid background.

The stars on her little outfit have been glossy accented.

Tomorrow its just me and Mr. Aiden so I hope to have more time to clean the house up and do laundry...and actually have enough energy to cook dinner. My poor husband has had takeout both nights I watched Carson and Aiden all day.

I went to Joanns Wednesday night and I found the cutest things for my scrapbook room...if I can find a place to hang them lol. cant wait to show you!!!

Hump Day Inspiration 10 Card

Wednesday again..already?! That means it is time for Inktegrity's Hump Day Inspiration time (to win some free digi's!!)
Here is the sketch for this week....simple and easy to work with for people who do not have alot of time!! I love it

And here is my card for the sketch.

I did some designs on the balloons with my Copic colorless blender pen and put glossy accents on top of it. The blue trim is a NEW Ek success border/edger punch I got from JoAnn's the other night. I love it and it is alot easier to line up than it looks!

I also have some exciting news if you are local to me..I will be participating in a craft show in June. I will have more details soon..and its free to park and free to get in!! I only have a month to work on some more goodies for the show though!!!

Little Monster

Monsters are so hott right now..especially for little boys! I have seen scrapbook paper, clothing, bath accessories and NOW an adorable digi image from Inktegrity!

I was so excited when Joni showed us this image (there is another one being released tomorrow). Having a 19 month old who seems to be testing my limits every day now monsters fit perfect LOL. Hes your typical toddler I guess...

You cant tell here but the balloons are glossy accented.

Such a fun boy birthday card.

Sorry to cut this short but I have so much to do its not even funny and I have a cold now so I am not feeling the greatest...yuck! See you tomorrow for another card!

I know alot of people who know me in real life read this blog..so I just wanted everyone to know Aiden seems to be back to normal..well his appetite is BETTER...he wants to eat nonstop now. Is he really growing again?! I miss when I could cuddle with him in my arms.

Still in Fl mode

This weather we have been having here lately has made it hard for us to switch back to being happy living here :)

Ever since we got back into Indiana..its been cool and rainy. NO FUN! So I am still holding onto that Florida weather by making bright summer cards LOL.

Here is another card I made with some of the new releases Inktegrity had while I was gone.

Isnt he a cutie...his shorts are glossy accents and the sand is embossing powder that looks like real sand. I also added two 3d flip flops on the card. I love the bright polka dotted paper I got from AC Moore...it was the first time I had ever gone into that store and I wish we had them!! I found so many deals in there!

I called Aidens DR today just to make sure we didnt need to come in (strep is going around here) and the nurse on call said he sounded to be feeling better. We havent had anymore vomiting episodes since Saturday and he is actually eating alot of bread and crackers. I am trying to keep him on the BRAT diet (funny name I know..but its bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast) We will slowly start introducing milk back into his diet. Poor thing!

Well I am off to put Aiden down for a nap..I think Brent and I also caught something because I am SO SO SO tired and weak and achy feeling..not fun for us right now

Finally...a card!

Finally...time to craft LOL...I am finally caught up on dishes and laundry and cleaning from our vacation. I was able to run off to my craft room tonight and create several cards...one I cant show you till Wednesday for Inktegritys Sketch Challenge!

I missed alot when I was gone..especially for my DT's including the new releases of Joni's new images she released..so I am making up for lost time lol. Isn't he a cutie...so fun to color and glossy accent! The border punch is from EK success. I also did this card for the Friday Sketchers Sketch going on right now. His little shorts are glossy accents for a neat look since I cant really add too much glitter to him ;)

Aiden is still sick. Were not sure if he had a time time traveling...food allergy...OR allergic to something in FL or the new swim diapers we used for the first time. Poor thing hasn't been eating or drinking much and has a really bad diaper rash and diarrhea..it breaks my heart when hes in pain. Hopefully he will feel better so he can go to my cousins Bday party tomorrow night.

Hump Day Inspiration 7

Happy Thursday Everyone!!

Even though this challenge started yesterday over at Inktegrity..there is still PLENTY of time to enter to win some digi stamps!!!

Its time for another sketch challenge...here is this weeks

And here is what I did....I used Mr. Owl image and colored him with copics using my wood coloring technique (I have a video of this!)

I had to use the new buttons I got in the Michaels $1.00 area..for a dollar there are so many!!

Last night was spent scrapbooking for awhile. When I was starting the laundry I couldnt find Aiden...now as a first time mom I usually PANIC and think bad thoughts..but I knew the the gates were locked, bathroom doors shut. I found him in the playroom (duh?!)

and he had pulled out his 12x12 HEAVY scrapbooks of when he was born and was just going back and forth pointing out pictures of me and DH. It was the cutest thing..I seriously think we sat for 20 min doing this.

This motivated me to start catching up again. I wish I had scrapbooks instead of photo album (Mom..I know it wasnt popular back them so Im not mad LOL) But I really do not want to fall back and lose it when we have another baby. I dont want the typical oh, Aiden your book stops here because thats when your baby sis/bro came.

I also started doing some photo books on Shutterfly a couple days ago. They were have 40% off them (which is a good deal!) So I sat down and created an 8x8 hard cover book for his first year. Then I started on his second year..which I wont print off into book form till his bday. It is so cute! Cant wait to get it

Well I gotta get off here and get ready for my sister to come over.

Hump Day Inspiration 6

Yep..its Wednesday again which means its time for Inktegrity Hump Day Inspiration Sketch Challenge. Here is this weeks sketch



And this is what I did with the sketch...I love this little boy image (especially with Aiden) so of course I had to make him a blondie! He is colored with Copics and I have TWO videos to show regarding this card..so look for those at the bottom of this post.

The stars are popdotted. The pattern paper is by KI Memories and is shimmery! Green cardstock is bazzil and blue is night of navy from Stampin Up.

Stars were punched with the blue marvy star punch and a mini handheld one.



So be sure to go and participate in this sketch....there are PRIZES!! Its always nice for you to se the products BUT if you dont have any....STILL PLAY WITH ANY IMAGE!!!!

Okay now for the videos..I need to post them before the big storms come through (will they actually happen though?! LOL) anyone who knows Indiana weather understands this comment.

Doesnt this card just make you want to go to the movies and eat popcorn!!

Okay...maybe its just me and because I could not tell you the last time I was able to go to a movie. Thats really sad LOL. Brent and I dont get too many date nights..guess we need to work on that.

This card was so much fun to color in and of course add glitter to the popcorn. This was part of Inktegritys new release last week.

It was a sad night for Indianapolis...Butler lost the final four :(

However, we did have a great weekend and the rain held off until Monday and did not ruin any of our Easter plans (yay)

For a Reel Good Friend

Happy April...and Happy April Fools day. I could have been mean and played a little joke on everyone but Idecided to be nice today LOL

Here is a brand new card that I created the other day for Inktegrity's new release. Joni created some easy digi stamps that you can just reszie, print, and go. She also created alot of other tickets for the other stamps....you need to see them all here!

Talk about BLING and shiny LOL..if you know me in real life though...its all about the bling. I did this card for Midnight Madness...and for once I didnt do the more embellished version...I mean with this paper it just didnt need it.

I cannot believe it is April already...Easter will be here in a few days and I cannot wait for Aiden to do a little mini easter egg hung this year..the only bad thing is there is a chance for some rain here. Okay well I am needing to go get Aiden up and ready.

I had to use the ladybug fairy..shes so cute BUT its so funny because 1/2 the DT used her as well lol. Can you tell everyone is itchin for Spring. This is the card I was excited to show you yesterday. I made the flower embellishment and I LOVE the way it came out. I used the diamond dust for the center, a glitter brad, hot pink and black feather, pink and green primas, and I glimmered mist tulle to be a purple/pink color!!

Also..the felt trim ribbon is from Michaels!! It was only $1.oo for 3 yards. I didnt think that was too bad for the price. They had LOTS of colors!!

Sunflower Fairy

Sunflower fairy is the last fairy of fairy week. Kinda sad...I enjoyed making all these cards with these adorable little girls/fairies and now its come to an end.

I love the way this card turned out! Even to the designer paper AND sunflower embellishment..which I had NO clue I owned. I decided to reorganize my embellishments since I ordered more brads from Oriental Trading and I stumbled across it..perfect!

I colored her with copics and used a sketch from Taylored Expressions

So now all the fairies (and they each come with some sentiments) are for sale now..head over to Inktegrity

Aiden slept in till almost 11:15am...ummmmm WOW lol. Of course I was up earlier, figures right. So I ended up going to my scrap room and doing another video and made a card. I cant wait to upload it and show you!

I also now know why he sleeps in when he does. See we were suppose to go to this fun inside water park today with my sister, nephew, cousin and aunt but stupid me dropped something on my foot the other day and it HURTS HURTS HURTS. So sadly, I didnt think chasing aiden around a wet busy (spring break) pool was in the best interest of myself or Aiden. So we were suppose to leave at 7 or 7:30ish to be there in time. It never fails..when we are to leave early..Aiden wants to sleep all morning lol.

Well were off to fix lunch and then do some errands! Check back for that video this weekend after I edit it!

March Madness and Ladybug Fairy

Isn't she a cutie?! She is probably one of my favorite fairies Joni has released at Inktegrity. But..I feel like I say that with everyone I post (lol).

She is ladybug fairy and I cannot wait to post my card for tomorrow..I think its my favorite colors and layout and I addded something special on the card!! Sadly, fairy week is coming to an end tomorrow..but what a fun week!

I did this card to the Fridays Sketchers Challenge going on...

After we had dinner I of course had to fill out my brackets for March Madness. I do believe Brent is very jealous when he knows I could easily turn on the tv at noon and "watch the madness begin" lol...but so I wont rub it in...we will be watching Backyardigans or Yo Gabba Gabba...Im pretty sure Aiden has control of the tv when we watch anything.

Brent was a sweetheart and took Aiden to the park last night (I felt really guily I didnt go this time) But I need to take some time for myself once in awhile..and it gives them some time. I cleaned dinner up SO fast and headed to my scrap room! I was able to finish up some family bday cards, 2 confirmation cards, Blackleaf sample, AND get a Stampin Up order ready lol. wow...and they were only gone 30 min or so because it got dark.

Okay well I gotta get off here and start thinking about lunch for Mr. Aiden and I. See you tomorrow?!

p.s. my throat has been hurting since I woke up.....please tell me Im not getting sick!!

I thought today was going to be very rough. Aiden woke up around 7ish..which still feels like 6ish lol. But I was able to snuggle and rock him and he went back to bed for a little bit. Now we are up and ready to get our day started!!

I am excited to show you a card that I made for Backleaf Studios. As members of the DT..we get these fun challenges to do and this time was to use GREEN! So I used the Toy Transport set again (I love having this around for all the adorable little boys in my life) and found some green star brads. So here is what I got:

So Brent does not work anymore real late nights anymore...I cannot tell you how much Aiden and I love him being home at 7ish instead of midnight. I was wanting a bright, fun, Springish card and I think I got that! I colored her with copics but then I used my twinkling h2o's on her...I cannot tell you when the last time I used those were! I need to use them more!!

Fairy Week has begun!!

How exciting! Inktegrity is releasing fairies all week long!! You had the chance to guess what fairy was going to be revealed with a sneak peak of the image...how fun is that? The first fairy that has been released is DAISY FAIRY!!

I did the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches and just made my little fairy smaller and then used reds and blues. The flowers are actually 3d and stick off the page! Want to buy your own Daisy Fairy and sentiments?? Go here!

That is why I love digi image..you can make them as big as you want or how small you need them to be!

I also have exciting news...Joni is also letting me have to chance to give away the SECOND new fairy away here to a lucky commenter! All you need to do is leave a comment guessing what fairy she is. How fun is that and then I will randomly pick a lucky person and send them the newest fairy and sentiments that goes with her!!
