Happy Hump Day!

Hello Everyone!

Today is Wednesday..so that means its Inktegrity Hump Day Inspiration..Im very sad as the DT term is coming to an end with Inktegrity. Joni will be taking a hiatus to focus on a NEW .com store!!

Today is special...its a sketch challenge AND a new releases. Here is the sketch for this week-

And here is the image/design I did. I love this tire swing image...so much fun to color and add things!!!

Did you notice that I used real hemp twine for the rope swing?!? I also added a heart with lovers initials on the tree...and added flower brads!!

I had so much fun making this card and of course coloring it with my copics!

I am also very excted to start with my NEW design team (The Stamping Boutique)...cant wait to show you what I create with thise wonderful images!!

News!

Happy Weekend Everyone!

Hope yours is going great..mine are great but always fly by way too fast. Believe it or night...its not raining LOL..if you have read my blog for a little bit you know that it has rained, no joke--4 straight weekends in a row.

Today we went to a few garage sales..didnt really find anything (unlike last week) BUT I did find a really cool thing for my scrapbook room...I have to clean it up and then I will post pics :)

I did get to go to Tuesday Morning, Archivers, and Walmart (what a joy huh lol)...but grocery shopping is out of the way for next week already.

I have some exciting news. I have been selected to be a design team member on The Stamping Boutique!!!

I am very excited and cannot wait to start creating with the wonderful images..I will be doing LOTS of copic tutorials for The Stamping Boutique!!!




My term officially starts June 1st!!

The other day I mentioned I found the coolest home decor for my scrapbook room.......check them out!!!

HUGE buttons...which my wonderful husband has spray painted mine black ( for my pink and black room)..but they are still drying so I will show you the updated look later and look at those scissors!! I cannot wait to hang them on my wall!!!!

Okay well its after midnight here and Aiden is finally asleep..time to go work on my craft show items.

Tiffany Doodles

Happy Friday Everyone!!

Aiden and I plan on just staying in all day until Brent comes home and then maybe get some dinner out and relax some more. I think this is the first weekend where we dont have to rush here or rush there!

I am so excited to try out for Tiffany Doodles Design Team call that is going on right now.
I just wanted to show you the card I made for the call.

I colored the flowers with copics and copic glitter pens. There is a brad in the center of the larger flowers. I also cut out two of each flower so they are popdotted! I love the little bee embellishment I added!

Prairie Fairy

Prairie Fairy is having a Design Team call...they will pick 10 lucky winners!! *crossing fingers!*

There was a fairy image for us to make a card with...and here is what I came up with.

(Look at her wings....its black sparkly tulle)

I colored her with copics and glittered the flower. The DP is My Minds Eye and there are primas and a button on the card as well. I really love the wings!!

I had so much fun making this card!

This Bud's For You Card

Good morning everyone! I hope your weekend went by nice and S-L-O-W

Now that Brent doesnt work the crazy long hours and has EVERY weekend off with us (oh..and Mondays!!!) ours seems to be just perfect now..Hes probably sick of me by Monday night and works seems like a vacation ;)

I made this card for two things..........
1.) Digital Stamp Oasis DT tryouts
2.)Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (however..Im a littl ahead..this one wont post til the 23rd)



I used a digital image from Whimsie Doodles and used my Copic to color the turtle in. I love this card..very Springy and couldnt we all use that right about now :)

Thanks for looking...Aiden has to get his 18 month shots today..my heart breaks everytime he gets shots. Poor thing...

Can you guys read that?!?! I seriously almost just fainted when I read my name on the GCD studios blog...

Let me tell you..you can ask my hubby...I was bummed when all the design team calls had been placed...but I chalked it up to I was new, didnt have experience...they got thousands of applications...and everything.....

I never thought I would even make it close to the list and here I am a spot-light gal!! I am excited and this has made my day great!!

Sorry if this post doesnt make much sense..but I want to remember this (since I print my blog off into a book form every year for memories)

Where have I been?!

Where have I been?! It feels like its been forever since I last blogged...especially when somedays I blog more than once ;)

We have had such a busy weekend! First of all the weather here in Indiana has actually been alot nicer than most weekends lately. It was in the 50's and trust me..I needed it lol. Of course we had to get out

Friday Night: Ate out and went to michaels...I got me 2 of the scrapbooking t-shirts I mentioned in my last post. I got the hot pink one that says Scrap Queen with a crown and then I got the teal/blue one that says 100% certified scrapbooker...I felt I NEEDED this one since I am copic certified and all...Brent didnt seem to agree with my line of thinking ;) But he did use a 50% off coupon for me so I got them for like 5 bucks!

Saturday: My mom got here nice and early and we got to go to the Heirloom Stamp show downtown and we had a BLAST!! There were quite a few people there and I actually got to meet a wonderful reader of mine (HELLO THERE!) :)

I love it..it makes my blogging seem really worthwhile when I know people enjoy my posts because honestly..I didnt think anyone read this except me and a few of my family members ;) SO thankyou!!

We got alot of stamps..I could have walked out with alot more...but none that I NEEDED to have..we were both very smart and even had $$$ for some Mcdonalds...actually MOM had money for mcdonalds for us! lol

I will post a pic or something on the goodies I got...who am I kidding..it will probably be another video..its so much easier for me!

That night we went to Target and some flea markets

Sunday: Went to another flea market and just hung out at home..so nice!

so...not much stamping except some new projects for some challenges at Blackleaf which I am very excited for! Also it is almost time for more new releases at Inktegrity as well!

Meanwhile..here are some of my recent ones I did for Blackleaf and her new sets!

Butterfly digi stamp...I decorated one of those look alike altoid tins..perfect to hold candy :)

And I created another bright card with that Vintage Elements Chic digi set...this time I went for bright and modern!! Love the plaid background paper

Ok well its almost midnight and Brent has to go back to work tomorrow and I need to clean up a little...our little tornado really messed up this house this weekend (Mr. Aiden of course)

Just sitting here and thinking of you...

The weekend is here!! I am excited that Brent doesnt have to work any this weekend. However, the weekends always fly by, which I am not a fan of.

If you didnt read my last post...I had some exciting news. I made a design team that I tried out for! Blackleaf Studios and I will also be posting over at the Blackleaf Studios Blog

Dont worry..this is still my main blog and I will post all my creations here :)

I want to show you my first card I did with the Vintage Chic Elements Digi stamp kit I got to work with! I love digital images now and it is so much fun to work with and "create scenes"

For my card I used Midnight Maddness Sketch Challenge 41. I know they create these sketches on Tuesday..but for now I am going to be doing them on Friday/Sat..when I can stay up till midnight and not feel any maddness in the morning taking care of Aiden during the week lol. Here is the sketch...love the design of this one! I chose to do the embellished version

Here is m sketch...The hat boxes are popdotted and glittered (cant see in pic) so they look like they are really sitting on the table!) I love this card...its blank inside and could be used for lots of events!

Mojo Monday

Its been a few days since I have last posted...mainly because I have been very busy dealing with all the snow we got here and of course being creative in my scrapbook room and trying out for several design teams. I really wish I could show the projects off as I am SO proud of things I have created and what makes it even better is I create things I actually will use and put in my scrapbooks and thats cool.

Its Monday so that means its a different Mojo Monday sketch challenge...so here is the sketch that was posted on the website:

I love the sketch today....works really well with this stamped image I have had laying around for a little bit (I did a video on the mudd puddles product). I am pretty happy with the end result and would love to give it away to a little boy! Perfect boy colors and stamp.

I had a wonderful Valentines Day...Aiden stayed with his grandma and grandpa (THANKYOU) and Brent and I had alot of fun and spent the weekend together...he took me to Archivers which is always good and I always get spoiled (thankyou sweetie) and he gave me a few other surprises..love that guy to death!!

Aiden was spoiled as well...when isnt he though lol.

Okay well hopefully I will start posting more now that I have turned in all my design team applications by their due dates.
