Howdy Cupcake

Its Saturday!!

Which means its the weekend!! I love the weekends and like I mentioned before we dont have ALOT to do which is SO nice.

We do have my nephews 3rd birthday party today...it makes me sad that hes 3...I was there when he was born..doesnt seem like 3 years ago....which also means Aiden is ALMOST TWO!!!

Let me tell you..I think we are getting to the terrible twos a little early.LOL

Im kidding..well......I blame teething (how long can parents blame this?!?) He honestly is getting the rest of his little molars in and for the past 4 days (not that Im counting) he has been up before 6:40am and doesnt want to play or eat or read books anymore. He is always chewing on his fingers and we have to change shirts 3x a day. Poor thing...

So hopefully he gets a nap before we head the almost 2 hours there.

Anwways..here is a card that I have entered for the Treehouse Stamps Guest Designer for May...and I also used a sketch from Midnight Madness.



Check out the cherry...its shiny! AND check out the cupcake....it looks like sprinkles..I love diamond dust SO SO SO much. This card is almost to yummy looking to use ;)

For a Reel Good Friend

Happy April...and Happy April Fools day. I could have been mean and played a little joke on everyone but Idecided to be nice today LOL

Here is a brand new card that I created the other day for Inktegrity's new release. Joni created some easy digi stamps that you can just reszie, print, and go. She also created alot of other tickets for the other stamps....you need to see them all here!

Talk about BLING and shiny LOL..if you know me in real life though...its all about the bling. I did this card for Midnight Madness...and for once I didnt do the more embellished version...I mean with this paper it just didnt need it.

I cannot believe it is April already...Easter will be here in a few days and I cannot wait for Aiden to do a little mini easter egg hung this year..the only bad thing is there is a chance for some rain here. Okay well I am needing to go get Aiden up and ready.

This Bud's For You Card

Good morning everyone! I hope your weekend went by nice and S-L-O-W

Now that Brent doesnt work the crazy long hours and has EVERY weekend off with us (oh..and Mondays!!!) ours seems to be just perfect now..Hes probably sick of me by Monday night and works seems like a vacation ;)

I made this card for two things..........
1.) Digital Stamp Oasis DT tryouts
2.)Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge (however..Im a littl ahead..this one wont post til the 23rd)



I used a digital image from Whimsie Doodles and used my Copic to color the turtle in. I love this card..very Springy and couldnt we all use that right about now :)

Thanks for looking...Aiden has to get his 18 month shots today..my heart breaks everytime he gets shots. Poor thing...

Cabin Fever

Hey Everyone. Happy Thursday! I cannot believe it is only Thursday lol..it feels like it should be the weekend already! This week has been a hard one for me so far....nothing bad but just LONG

As a SAHM..I think I have reached my breaking point to just staying home...I need spring to come and fast. I am sick of being inside lol...its too cold to take Aiden outside and burn off his energy. I love being a SAHM...but we need to be able to run outside, go to parks, swim, and just see the warm sun lol.

Brent and I havent been anywhere warm since 2006( we did go to Gulf Shores..but in Feb of last year..not when it was warm lol)--its time for a trip I believe..wonder if he will agree with me ;)

Anyways..while I am dreaming of wearing flip flops....here is a sketch I had fun with

The wings are popdotted so the card is very 3d...love the bright colors!!

Midnight Madness Sketch Time

Im a little later than usual doing some sketches...but I think its because I am busy doing alot of work for Inktegrity and Blackleaf (Have I mentioned how much I LOVE being on design teams!)

Being a SAHM...it really helps me feel like "I get to do something". If that comes out bad...its not suppose to be but my life is all about chasing, fighting sleep toddler, diaper changes lol.

Here is my take on it...I thought I would be able to do this one especially with the embellishment part..but once again I LOVE the outcome!! And I havent used these eyelets for at least 2 years (shhh!)

Just sitting here and thinking of you...

The weekend is here!! I am excited that Brent doesnt have to work any this weekend. However, the weekends always fly by, which I am not a fan of.

If you didnt read my last post...I had some exciting news. I made a design team that I tried out for! Blackleaf Studios and I will also be posting over at the Blackleaf Studios Blog

Dont worry..this is still my main blog and I will post all my creations here :)

I want to show you my first card I did with the Vintage Chic Elements Digi stamp kit I got to work with! I love digital images now and it is so much fun to work with and "create scenes"

For my card I used Midnight Maddness Sketch Challenge 41. I know they create these sketches on Tuesday..but for now I am going to be doing them on Friday/Sat..when I can stay up till midnight and not feel any maddness in the morning taking care of Aiden during the week lol. Here is the sketch...love the design of this one! I chose to do the embellished version

Here is m sketch...The hat boxes are popdotted and glittered (cant see in pic) so they look like they are really sitting on the table!) I love this card...its blank inside and could be used for lots of events!
