Fishing Birthday Card

 Happy Friday!

I am trying really hard not to miss any loved ones birthday this year...more than ever I feel like we need happy mail and to let someone know they are special.

One of our family friends son turned 15 last weekend and we social distanced and dropped off his card and gift. We definitely missed celebrating in person with a party but with everything going on luckily we could do a drop off safely.

He thought the sentiment in the front was hilarious 😂

The stamp set it from Darcie’s stamps and it’s called no trout about it. I colored the image with copics and used glossy accents on the fish. I also used a Simon says stamp background called Sketchy Lines background stamp.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Stay safe 💕

Unicorn Birthday Card

Hello! It’s Friday!
Our days seem to be flying by again....for awhile the quarantine made the days drag by. Aiden will be going to 6th grade in just a few days. Where has time gone?? He will be doing the first semester virtually here at home with his school. It has been a hard time trying to decide what the best answer for us would be.  I’m not sure there is a correct answer per say.

We celebrated my cousins daughters first birthday last weekend and here is the card that I created for her.

This is the lawn fawn set called Unicorn Picnic and I also used their new scripty word- birthday. This set was a lot of fun to color and I stacked the diecut several times. My favorite part is the golf splatter on the background paper.

I hope you have a wonderful and crafty weekend. See you next week for more creations!

Smore Card Finished

Hello! Happy Wednesday! I just wanted to pop on by to show you the finished card that I made using those adorable images from my last post. This card was so much fun and took some time Coloring everything..but it was so worth it!

I absolutely love the set Lawn Fawn did with Ellen Hutson.  I hope you have a fantastic Wednesday and check back in a few days to see the card I made for my cousins 1st birthday!

Bright Birthday Card

Hello!

Last week I had an unplanned tooth extraction. Not fun and it was a Monday...

During recovery time at home I took advantage and went to the craft room. I created this bright but masculine card using Taylored Expression products and their new mask lines.

Next week I go back to dentist for a follow up...hoping for a better visit 😂

Birthday Card

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is staying safe and finding time for crafting. My husbands birthday was this week and it is now safe to show the card online 😂 since he has seen it.

He loves pizza and I knew we were getting pizza for dinner that night so I knew this card was a must. The stamps are from Inky Antics and features their scratch and sniff line. I used Copic markers for quick coloring and quick blending. I then added the scratch and sniff sticker to the pizza image. The background die is from Reverse Confetti.

Thanks for stopping by...come back soon for another card!

New House Update & Sky Zone

Hello!

So sorry its been awhile since my last update.  We have been pretty much standstill on the home due to rain and snow and cold temps.  But we are so happy that the basement floor has been poured!  We also drove by on Monday and we noticed they had prepped our garage floor to be poured as well!

So exciting!  So the next part is the back filling and then start the framing.  Framing is the part I am excited for!

The photos aren't much (you cant really see much) since they floor is covered by black blankets to protect it.

You can see a peek of the flooring here

Looks like a mess doesn't it

One thing we are not happy with is the choice they made to not use the temp driveway and instead try to cut across our 5 acres and got stuck.

Deep ruts

This use to be TONS of rocks...not so much anymore
Brent standing in our garage to be

Earlier that day Aiden was invited to his first ever "friend" birthday party.  A new boy in his class named Max.  It was held at a Skyzone, which is an indoor trampoline park.  He had so much fun.  I even got to meet Georgia and Rachel he talks soooo much about haha.

It was so cute to see him around his friends and have so much fun.

He immediately feel asleep in the car on the way to the land and got to miss the HUGE mud mess, darn LOL.

Check back soon for more updates!!

Guilty Feelings..

Hello!

(Like the new design?!)

Oh goodness, where has time gone?!  LOL- I know thats the story of my life nowadays.

I feel the struggle to blog alot now, which makes me sad because I LOVE blogging.  I get the mommy guilt going on when I do orders and then blog.  I feel like I am on the computer all hours of the day (not really, but alot!) and I don't want to think back when Aiden was 3 and I didn't spend time with him.

I know, I need breaks too and right now I am doing all the Etsy to build our dream home and get Aiden the things he needs in life and to help Brent out since hes our worker in the house ;)  But really, I hate working when Aiden is home and sometimes I have to do but I try to focus on only Aiden when hes home and its just him and I :)
(so please dont stray away from my blog LOL)

Besides...can you believe how bored I would be without constant orders ;)

My sisters birthday card
(she loves bling, zebra, shopping, and the money inside the card!)

I used my Taylored Expressions 3d bag die, adding some bakers twine ribbon, gems, and ruffle ribbon and of course sparkle tissue paper for the bag!

Winter onederland parties are still a hit in my store!

I promise..I will be back soon LOL.  Besides, its time for Inked Treasures to have a new release!

In the mood to..

I am in the mood to scrapbook!  I am so embarrassed to admit how far behind I really am.

Its sad...the other day I was close to tears because I cannot remember some of the important things I have wanted to journal about and scrapbook...especially with Aiden's books.

I am probably going to take a break from Etsy for a week or so and have some "me" time.  Of course, we will see if this actually happens.  LOL.  I really need to connect with my hobby that I love for my personal reasons....it loses the hobby feel when I work on orders every single day.  Don't get me wrong. I am so appreciative of all the orders and clients I have at Etsy.

I am overwhelmed...and its easy to say that but I don't think people truly understand when I say I do orders all the time. I cannot tell you the last time I was able to just sit and spend the evening with Aiden and Brent.  I just want to take some time off to make it fun and exciting again...or at least limit my orders for the month.

Again....ask me in a few days if I am doing this LOL, because its so hard to quit this when we are dreaming of building next spring/summer.

Here are some recent orders I did!

Hope everyone has a great weekend...time for me to work on that big peach/pink order ;)
