4th of July..

Hey Everyone,

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! We had alot of fun here..especially since Aiden loves fireworks and IS NOT scared of them!! YAY.

We have alot to do today so I just wanted to post a project that I create for the craft show and have been a big hit since......gift card/money/check holder!!

Using the Stampin Up Top Note die!

Directions are really simple:

Just cut 3 top notes out of the same cardstock (unless you want a different colored pocket, then choose that cardstock color to cut top note). Cut one of the diecuts in half...this will create the pocket.

Using a stamp or anything else you can decoriate the pocket (I used Veramark for a watermark look) and then use red sticky tape and put around 3 sides..leaving top unadhesived. Glue in place

I wanted there to be some decorative paper on the front so I ran the pattern paper through the die cut machine as well and cut in half. Decorate front and punch a hole at the top and secure with brad so you can swing it open closed!

They are pretty easy to make and you can make alot of them in a short time!

I could not for the life of me make a card tonight for one of my swaps that is due very soon.....above is the outcome....honest feedback please!! We have to use at least one hero art stamp and an embellishment.

The picture isnt really showing the best of the card......the little charm says Thanks....this is my first time using the Stampin up slit punch for a border...i love it...however this is my sample card...I will be making better ones for the swamp...but what do u think...im not sure about it but I am too tired to create a new one.......goodnight everyone!!

Time to scrap

Well I am home from work and I am forcing myself to acutally relax and stamp until my husband comes home from work.....2 whole hours from now!! I am so excited to actually be able to stamp...

I ordered my first order from Stamping Bella http://www.stampingbella.com/ My husband, who is great today let me order my entire shopping cart (around 55 dollars with shipping) late last night...hes such a sweetie. I did not plan on spending that much because I had just put in a 233 dollar stampin up order.......well sorry to rush this post but I am off to scrap!!! I will leave you with a page that I created for my work for a contest...it had to be a springish 8x8 page with new products.....so I made a mothers day card with the new bazzil bling, Bo Bunny and Hero Arts stamps...check it out!
