GO GO GO!!!

Aww how appropriate...this next card says "cheer up" and this is my last card I had to create for my Inktegrity Design team term :(

I have such a blast being on that design team..it was one of my first ones and taught me all the little "rules" and how to be on a great design team!

I just love this little girl image...makes me wish I had one lol

I wanted to be creative again so I took my paper crimper and shredded some green cardstock that has been crimped. I then used glossy accents and just started "piling" on the cardstock to make pom poms...I love the way it turned out!! I also had to use 2 mini pink real pom poms on the card.

This sketch is also for Mojo Monday.
I was excited to squeze in a sketch challenge sometime this week!!

I also have some more great news..I was asked to step up on my Blackleaf Design Team and become the DT Coordinator!! I am thrilled and cannot wait to up my responsibilities..Im just nervous getting started and making sure I do a great job!

Brent is home today!!! He was lucky to take today off.......but he doesnt know it yet but I have major plans for him being home LOL..We have errands to run, a bday gift to buy, flowers to plant and more!!!!!!!!!! Think he will be up to the challenge?!

Friend-Aid Card

TGIF Everyone!! I love fridays except is today really the last day of April?!?! I feel like it just got here!!


Yesterday Aiden and I went to my moms and for the first time ever he actually took a nap..so it was ALOT of fun (its always fun...hes just somestimes not as fun haha) he woke up and was happy. My kid needs naps no question about it!


Today I have lots of errands to run..gotta go to Kohls because I wasnt thinking when I bought ONE family photo album and 2 days ago I got like 500 pics delivered to me. Did I really think this photo album would turn magical and stretch?! I dont think so......


We also need to get Aiden some diapers (hes going through them SO SO much faster it seems) Actually for his sake I will blame the diapers. You see the larger the size diapers the less you get in the box. Yah..thats our excuse LOL

Glitter Jar of Flowers Perfect for Mothers Day or Birthday

I just read on one of my favorite blogs that SU is bringing back some older colors of paper but also getting rid of some of my favorites. This makes me sad as I LOVE their cardstock and only use it for my cardbases. I guess the rest of my bday $$ will be stocking up on some of my favorite colors :(

Last night was wonderful. It will still in the 70's when Brent got home so we played outside with Aiden and set up his swing again and also we set up his bball goal and tball set that my sister and mom gave Aiden from my nephew (he outgrew them and got bigger ones). Aiden had a ball and didnt want to leave to go to the grocery store (do you blame him?!) We then got some dinner and had a relaxing night at home till it was Aidens bedtime.

Time to go clean up a little...Aiden loves tearing this house apart ;)

Going to my moms

I am a few days late doing the Mojo Monday Card Sketch



Well...not really late but I usually get the chance to make my version on Monday or Tuesday at the latest, but this time I made is late Wednesday night. Oh well..at least I was able to finish it and participate this week!

I obviously chose to do the square/rectangle shape...although I think round would have been fun to do but I honestly do not have round or square envelopes to mail the cards in or to include it when I put these cards on Etsy

Today has been a super busy day. Aiden and I drive the hour and 1/2 to see my mom. We always have so much fun. Stopped by Kohls and got Aiden some ADORABLE spring/summer outfits. We also went to Target to get bridal shower gifts, ate some yummy lunch with my sister, and did alittle more shopping.

The only thing I dislike about doing this is Aiden NEVER takes naps...so around 7ish he shuts down and has a complete meltdown. Its so heartbreaking but honestly I would say within 2 minutes in the car and hes out. Poor thing!

I gotta get off here and go watch our survivor we taped!

Mojo Monday

Its been a few days since I have last posted...mainly because I have been very busy dealing with all the snow we got here and of course being creative in my scrapbook room and trying out for several design teams. I really wish I could show the projects off as I am SO proud of things I have created and what makes it even better is I create things I actually will use and put in my scrapbooks and thats cool.

Its Monday so that means its a different Mojo Monday sketch challenge...so here is the sketch that was posted on the website:

I love the sketch today....works really well with this stamped image I have had laying around for a little bit (I did a video on the mudd puddles product). I am pretty happy with the end result and would love to give it away to a little boy! Perfect boy colors and stamp.

I had a wonderful Valentines Day...Aiden stayed with his grandma and grandpa (THANKYOU) and Brent and I had alot of fun and spent the weekend together...he took me to Archivers which is always good and I always get spoiled (thankyou sweetie) and he gave me a few other surprises..love that guy to death!!

Aiden was spoiled as well...when isnt he though lol.

Okay well hopefully I will start posting more now that I have turned in all my design team applications by their due dates.

Mojo Mondays Sketch Challenge

Can you tell we still have lots of snow and are kinda stuck at home lol. Our new totals are 6-7 inches but we have alot of blowing and drifting as well. Sorry for all the blog posts but I have alot going on!! I have tried out for several design teams and I also found another sketch site but tomorrow is the last day for uploads and this time you are able to win a prize...pretty cool for something I already LOVE doing.
