I cannot believe it is almost Thanksgiving!  November is flying by.  I have been busy scrapbooking.  I cannot believe I am almost caught up, this is so exciting because I was a few years behind not too long ago.

 

Here is what we have been up to lately.

 

We had some really bad storms the other day and it was fun/scary watching it race in and the clouds changing and moving so fast.

And the after.  I love the way it turned out.  It was weird working with a shape other than a circle at first.  Its very sparkly in real life.

Halloween and Scrapbooking

Hello!!

 

Are you excited about gaining an extra hour of sleep?!  We have had such a great weekend so far.  Actually it feels like a long weekend because Brent was off Thursday and Friday.

 

They rescheduled trick or treating to November 1st, due to bad storms, rain, and lots of wind.  I am so happy..it would have been miserable going out in it!

 

Here is a picture of Aiden, he wanted to be a ninja this year.

 

 

We couldn't find his monogrammed fabric bag so we opted for a larger Halloween gift bag, until the bag broke.  Luckily it was when we were walking back ;)

 

Even got to stop at the local fire station.  Aiden was excited they had their ladder extended as high as it could go and all the lights flashing.  He loved it!

GCD Spotlight Gal and Love Day

Hey Everyone!

Have I mentioned how nice it is lateley to have working internet again and not have to sit at Mcdonalds forever late at night LOL.

I was so excited...heres a quick screeen shot!

Valenties Day was pretty great at my house. I am so blessed to have a husband like Brent. He treats me like a princess, so patient, kind, loving and such a great father to Aiden. Why was I so lucky in love?!

He surprised me with the Sparkle Uggs that have been SOLD OUT ever since Oprah gave them away on her show of her favorite things. He got me the black which are the ones I wanted!! I would love to wear the silver..but I think its a little too flashy for me LOL

Aiden was of course spoiled...isnt he always ;)

He got an adorable plush tree stump that have little animals in it, money for his savings account, finger paints, Tag JR books, adorable Uno Barn game, some candy, Mcdonalds Coupons, Dvd, a travel coloring set

He loves it all!! He is getting really good at opening presents :)

(Also..please ignore the beautiful milk "stains" on our leather love seat) So much for non leaking sippy cups...whatever!

So now today I am off to finish laundry and finish up my 2 custom orders I have to complete.

Guess what came in the mail on Monday...........

Yep...my BRAND new PINK! ATG gun. If you know me or have seen my scrapbook room, than you know I am obessed with anything pink and Brent often mocks me fo this but I dont care...anything pink IS better :)

Sorry I havent been around much but we hope to put our house up for sale by next week and we have been cleaning, packing up some things, and driving and looking at houses. Its getting very tiresome and I feel like we have the worst luck with houses we like.

Anyways...Aiden turned 23 months on the 10th..that means in less than a month I will have a TWO year old..that is just crazy to me. Cant wait to show you all of his party decor I am making!

Baby Blues

I haven't shared a scrapbook page in a long time because..well I really havent scrapped alot lately.

Alot of my time has been focused on my current design teams, my business, and well enjoying my family and our time together.

I am so embarrassed to admit...I still do not have Christmas scrapbook..or anything after that!! I remember when I was pregant with Aiden and everyone said I would get behind and I laughed at them and would have bet money they were wrong......well.....they were right

Of course it could be worse. I could be years behind or even worse..not had started at all LOL. I really dont want to have a second child and quit Aidens book...I also heard that as well. Its funny because in my baby book I still have alot of pics and my baby book is complete but I can tell when my sister came along lol..pics are missing..not as many pics..or pics with my sister in them all. LOL

So..it is my goal to catch up by the time April is over! Scrapbooking is fun and shouldnt be made into a chore so I will have fun doing it and you know what..if April comes and Im still not caught up..then it will be when May is over.

I also placed my Copic order...on my facebook page I was giving an extra 10% off my already LOW prices...alot of people got some great deals! CKC Event

I have had such a good weekend so far...and the best part...its not over yet!!

Aiden spent the night at his grandma and grandpas Friday night so Brent and I could go use our free hotel room at a casino near by. Brent didnt do so well..but I did lol. We decided to go to bed earlier than usual because I really wanted to drive to Louisville KY and be there by 10am lol

I got to go to the CKC Event. A scrapbookers dream pretty much lol. So many goodies and vendors...Im glad I had extra $$ from the casino. There was a huge flea market in the same west wing hall area so Brent was able to enjoy that and I could fight my way through the crowds.

Computer Skills?

Its after midnight so I guess techincally its a new day...Wednesday! Brent is in the living room watching the DVR'd game of Purdue and Michigan State (GO Purdue!!) and I am in one of those moods where I want to be creative but I dont really want to have to go in my room, clean up my mess from last night and start creating...especially at midnight when we are going to bed soon lol. So I stayed here at the computer and decided to "revamp" my blog header (picture at the top that says my blog name.....it looked like this yesterday:

I LOVE it and I am so proud!! I have mentioned before that we got a new computer for downstairs and all my photoshops were on the old one and I havent had time to upload it all on it..plus I love how fast this computer is without all those programs. SO yes...I did this without my photoshop and with GIMP. Now I know there are TONS of people who are thinking, Oh wow..shes excited on THAT work...be quiet and let me enjoy this moment lol. I love how I added a family picture to my header this time...makes it more personal!!

I have been super busy..I want to say today but really it was yesterday (are you confused yet?!). I created a layout for the Memory Makers Book Call. I am excited..hopefully they like it

Sadly I am not able to show the page or upload it anywhere until they say yes or no...but its cute I promise.I could be a bit biased though since it does have my cute hubby and my adorable son in the pics.

We got another 3 inches of snow today...I LOVE watching it fall down and so does Aiden, we probably stayed by the window for a total of 2 hours today watching it fall down and watching our neighbor shovel his driveway...Fun times I tell you as a SAHM lol. Well Im gonna get off here and go clean up a little before bed. Have a great night/morning...depending on when you are reading this :)

I also have the other part of the video from creating a sidewalk ready to show you! This time I finished coloring the duck and blended oranges and yellows together and use Copic Spica glitter pens. Today Aiden and I are just relaxing at home. We were both sick yesterday but I think it was just a weird little bug and we slept it off!! Hopefully during nap time I can create another card!! Okay well I am going to get off here and get lunch ready for Aiden and I

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge 98

Well for awhile now my mom has been telling me that I should do Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenged and well everyone knows moms know best lol..

I am so glad I did it! Do you ever get stuck in a cardmaking rut..where they all start to look alike. I am going to start doing more of these!!

Again, this is another image that my mom and I turned into a Love or Valentines Day image (the heart was not stamped on the orig stamp....we added it!!) One layer of the heart is glittered, one is flocked, and the last one has glossy accents. The turtle also has Copic Spica glitter on its spots and eyelashes ( I made it a girl turtle...she needed some sparkles lol)

2010

Wow..its weird saying that outloud isnt it. 2010..I remember when it was 2000 and people were worried about computers quitting and the end of the world and all sorts of things.

2009 was a great year for me. I have a great and very blessed life. Not to brag or anything (but hey its my blog so Im allowed to!)

• I have the best husband ever.
  Brent is so supportive of me and is seriously my best friend. He is always there for me and loves me for who I am.
• Aiden- enough said. He is the biggest blessing of all. I love that little boy SO SO SO much, I swear my heart will burst sometimes. Of course he has his moments and I go crazy but in the end just thinking about him and seeing him grow up (which is quite sad to see him do it so fast) could make me cry..happy tears of course ;)
• I have a great family (both sides) and I love each and every one of them. We are overall still very healthy and loving life.

Of course 2009 had alot of memories I want to remember but I think 2010 will be another great year. Who knows what is in store for my family and I but its a journey I want to take!!

I am going to reivent myself in the roles I play. I want to become a better wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend, and even a better stranger to others.

My job is to be at home....to raise Aiden to be healthy, happy, and polite. My job is also to take care of my husband. To take care of our home, our child, and to make sure he is happy.

Did you make any resolutions?? I didnt this year really because I never keep them but I am going to set a few goals (different in my opinion lol)

1. become a better mother, wife, etc
2. exercise more and do the weight watchers program again..it was working so why did we stop?!
3. Never get behind on scrapbooking again. Its so pathetic how behind I am
